General History

SECMOL The Students' Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL) was founded in 1988 by a group of young Ladakhis to reform the educational system of Ladakh. Today our activities are extremely varied and numerous. We organize activities for Ladakhi youth, run a campus for students going to school or college en Leh, develop solar energy projects, and much more.

LEDeG Ladakh Ecological Development Group (LEDeG) is a Non-Governmental Organisation, which was registered as a society in J&K state in 1983. Its goal is to promote ecological and sustainable development of Ladakh, which harmonizes with and builds on the traditional culture.
